A REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE WHEN DAYLIGHT FADES
In 2005 we started designing and testing this tour. The original idea dates back to the 1990´s, and 2007 was the first time we opened it to the public. Since then, night after night we discover a whimsical world in the company of limited groups of visitors.
When daylight glimmers away, a different microuniverse awakens. Tidal rocks and pools host one of the most diverse and noteworthy ecosystems. Bright-coloured and odd-bodied creatures inhabit this demanding place and allow us to know their lifestyles, the challenges they face and how they deal with them.
Joining a Night Tidepool Safari is merging with the warm darkness and silence of night to uncover the mysteries of sealife, and, more importantly, to rediscover the child-like curiosity we all bear within.
